Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a native of Canada and is most well-known to Canadians because of her character as an Canadian actress on the Freeform fantasy series Shadowhunters. She also appeared in Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda e Voltea a' que te is enthralled. Emeraude Toubia also is an accomplished model and dancer. She was born in Montreal and has resided in Texas since childhood, and always loved dancing. Her training began in the age of three in many different forms. In her 15th year, she started taking part in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia garnered significant fame in 2008 when she took part in two seasons of Univision beauty pageant program Nuestra Belleza Latina. In 2010, she began her acting career as a receptionist in an episode of Telemundo's television show Aurora. She also was a part-time actress in her debut film, the action-drama Tattooed Love.
