Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress that appears mainly in Tamil as well as Telugu film, as well as to a few Malayalam films. She won the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her role in the role of actress Savitri. In addition, she has received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar is the child of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar, and actress Menaka G. Suresh. At the beginning of 2000, she began as a young actor. After completing her studies in fashion design, she returned to film. She portrayed her first lead role in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy has signed her first Tamil projects in 2015 and began to accept projects outside of Malayalam. The first film she acted in came in A. L. Vijay's romantic comedic Idhu Enna Maayam (2015), opposite Vikram Prabhu. However, the film did not perform well at the box office. A busy schedule during 2015 resulted in her having decide to pull out of projects that she was developing, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, to be able to take on bigger projects. For a short period of time, she worked with Sivakarthikeyan for Rajini Murugan, Remo and was also the lead actor for Prabhu Sool's Thodari with Dhanush. Her Telugu debut had been planned as Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. But, the movie has been in the process of being delayed, and there are reports of release after September in 2020, under the name change to Janakitho Nenu. The film's first film to debut was in 2016's Nenu Sailaja featuring actress Ram Pothineni. Keerthy starred in Bairavaa written by Bharathan and featuring actor Vijay.
